In order to understand the good fruit and the bad fruit, we must start with the parable of the sower and the parable of the wheat and Tares. In Matthew 13: 37 - 40 the parable of the wheat and tares, it says; He that sow the good seed is the Son of man (Jesus), the field is the world, and the good seed is the children of the kingdom, but the tares are the children of the wicked one (devil). In Mark 4: 13 - 20 the parable of the sower; it says, The sower (Jesus) sows the word, then it says, the seed that fell on the wayside are those people that hear the word that is sow in their heart and the devil steals it right away. It says, the seed that fell on stony ground are they that hear the word that is sown in their heart, and the moment trials and tribulations come they are offended and do not endure. It says, the seed that fell among thorns are they that hear the word sown in their hearts, and the riches of this world and the cares of this world chokes the word out of them. Then it says, the seed that fell on good ground, are those the word is sown in their hearts and they produce some thirty-fold, some sixty-fold and some hundredfold. Right here you can began to see how ignorant most Christians are. The good fruit and the bad fruit are people, God is interested in people. The good fruit will bring other good fruit (people) into the kingdom. The bad fruit will not produce any fruit (people) for the kingdom. Lets put this in simple terms, Jesus said he sows the word, the soil is the heart of men where the seed is sown. Now if the fruit was about this great life, then, then the people who loved the riches and cares of this world should have been the good fruit, but in the parable they are not. The great life is what chokes the word out of you. Jesus said, his kingdom is not of this world, Jesus said, the world hated me, it will hate you for my namesake, Jesus said, they persecuted me, they will persecute you. Where is the great life in this. 1 Peter 1: 23; says this, Being born again not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the "word of God", which lives and abides forever. Then in John 17: 20; Jesus say, I don't pray for my disciples only, but for them also, which shall believe on me through their word. So, we see that as we go out into the world and fulfill the great commission, by preaching the gospel (spreading the good news), every time we bring someone into the kingdom of God through the gospel, we bare fruit to God. Remember this; the great life is not this one, the great life is the next one; because it last for eternity with God. Don't be deceived by the prosperity messages we hear in churches today, it is the message from the wicked one. The gospel is Jesus born to redeem us, died, 3 days, 3 nights in the grave, resurrected and now lives and sits at the right hand of the Father. God now speaks to us through his Son. Bare fruit to God, bring people into the his kingdom. Read a more in debt information on the page "Seed" on my website. God bless and have a great day
